Popular titles such as Phasmophobia and VR Chat merged the concept of traditional video games with augmented reality and virtual reality capabilities. Already, in 2023, there are 98 million people using VR while VR video games are still in their technological infancy. Alongside VR technology, casino gaming technology has emerged as an innovation on traditional video games.

Currently, there are 4,792 services considered casino video games, with a growth rate of 29.25% in the past 5 years. Major games such as Coin Master and Bingo Blitz have generated over $61 million and $19 million in revenue respectively. With the number of video game players expected to across the entire industry, casino video games will likely explode in popularity in the coming years. Ultimately, video games have evolved to become a hobby that can be enjoyed by just about everyone. As they continue to evolve and innovate, video games as a whole should grow to be a cultural staple.
